Those who enjoy a scenic drive can choose from l-99, Routes 220, 22, 36, 764 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Philadelphia and Baltimore are an average of three hours by car, while Pittsburgh and Harrisburg are a short hour and a half.

In May 2001, the brand new, state-of-the-art Blair County Convention Center opened its doors, enhancing the multitude of inviting choices that are available for any size or type of event in this region. The new facility incorporates state-of-the-art technology and larger, more flexible meeting and exhibit space with the same quality service for which we are known. Our experienced Client Service Department is available from pre-event planning right through to post-event evaluations to ensure that every request is fulfilled and all aspects of your event run smoothly.

 A full banquet staff is at your service with superb menu options. Choose from a wide variety of lunch and dinner entrees, mouthwatering desserts, a bistro menu, raw bar, carving stations, customized menus and more. Creative choices for breakout sessions, activity packages, spousal trips and more are among the list of full-service items we offer. Our staff can arrange for group or individual golf outings, baseball games and team-building activities at area amusement parks, lakes or museums. All of our attractions are within thirty minutes and create a well-rounded, exciting experience for exhibitors and delegates alike.

Complementing the many other facilities in the area, the new Blair County Convention Center offers such amenities as multiple data ports for individual trade show booths, audio/visual capabilities for the most advanced presentations, total flexibility to customize all meeting space to individual needs and specifications and in-house drayage for your convenience. The new Convention Center has been specially designed to accommodate trade shows of any size and type. Drive a full tractor trailer right into the Main Exhibit Hall, host three different kinds of shows at the same time utilizing our flex-space option, and enjoy running water and a complete drainage system at each booth for your next food show. Nothing is too much or too tough for the Blair County Convention Center.
