The Allegheny Mountains Convention & Visitors Bureau is now distributing the 2010 Visitors Guide, entitled In Every Season.  The summer themed cover photo is the 3rd in the series, following Fall in 2008 and Spring in 2009.  This year's guide gives potential visitors a true picture of The Alleghenies and what makes the region unique.  A grid featuring area lodging properties, bed and breakfasts and campgrounds and their amenities allows potential visitors to decide at a glance where to stay.  The guide includes information about historical venues, attractions, recreational opportunities, local boutiques and shopping centers, restaurants, accommodations and more.

Fun Facts:
The Canal Basin Park in Hollidaysburg features a family area with play structures including a one of a kind replica sectional canal boat, which was designed and built by Captain John Dougherty during the Canal Era.
