Networking Opportunities — The AMCVB offers many networking opportunities to our members including the Annual Membership Social/Silent Auction when members are recognized for their support and commitment to The Alleghenies Region and the AMCVB. The silent auction includes items donated by members who, in return, receive great marketing exposure. Other opportunities include the AMCVB signature events, the AMCVB Traveling Information Booths, Trade Shows, Fam Tours & Mystery Tours.

Fam Tours— The AMCVB offers area Familiarization Tours to travel writers and group leaders to get to know our members. We also offer FAM tours for you and your staff to visit area attractions and highlight points of interest along the way. This a great way to train your staff in assisting visitors. Spend a day with AMCVB staff and other members visiting the sites, or call the AMCVB for a copy of the FAM tour and let your staff take it at their own pace.

First Commonwealth Mystery Tours — By being a member of the AMCVB, your business or organization has the opportunity to be highlighted on First Commonwealth Mystery Tours which take place every May, June, July, August and October. Historical background, unique highlights, special offers and what your business or organization has to offer will be included. This means an average of 500 “Mystery Tourers” would be brought to your door over a two day period. The exposure continues due to our multiyear archives of Mystery Tours which are adapted to be timeless as year-round driving tours for individuals and groups. For additional exposure, Presenting Sponsorships are available for $250, which allow members to include brochures and other information in the Mystery Tour Gift Bags and have their logo featured on the front page of the Tour Direction Packets.

Traveling Information Booth — The AMCVB takes our Tourist Information Booths on the road where the AMCVB will set up and staff visitor information booths at special events held by members to help guests learn more about our area. Members are encouraged to volunteer at the booth for additional marketing and public relations exposure.
