Taste of the Alleghenies is held at the Blair County Convention Center in conjunction with our event partner, The Altoona Mirror.  TOTA is a two-day weekend celebration of food and fun, including the Taste of Home Cooking School on Saturday and a Celebrity Chef Show on Sunday. Vendors will fill the Exhibit Hall featuring food tastings and the latest  trends in cooking.  Cooking competitions will take place on Saturday with voting  proceeds going to non-profit organizations; Sundayís contest will pit local restaurants against each other for a battle of signature dishes of The Alleghenies.
